Retro LSU Tigers Basketball 'The Pettit' Slub T-Shirt Asphalt

Price: Starting at $28.00

A three-time first-team All-SEC member, Bob Pettit led his Tigers to a second place finish in 1952, conference titles in 1953 and 1954 and the NCAA Final Four in 1953.

He led the SEC in scoring all three years, with the highest averages seen to date in the conference: 25.5 points in 1952, 24.9 in 1953 and 31.4 points per game in 1954. At the same time he was averaging 13.1 (1952), 13.9 (1953) and an LSU best 17.3 (1954) rebounds per game. Only Pete Maravich and Chris Jackson would also break the 30-point average barrier at LSU.

Pay tribute to Pettit and the LSU Tigers by picking up one of our exclusive retro LSU basketball tees named after the man him self, Bob Pettit! We printed this design on a soft wash slub tee and features a distressed print for a vintage look and feel. Slub tees are made a distinctive thick-and-thin woven 100% cotton which offers a unique look and adds subtle texture to the tee.
